How to add sales budgets for users

In Cirrus, you can add budgets to users for sales and opportunities.

You can follow both the budget forecast for sales and opportunities via your dashboard. If you are registered as a manager in Cirrus, you can also see your entire sales team's collective budget on the dashboard. If you are not a manager, you only see your own budget.

Add budget

Step 1.

You add budget in Settings -> Budget.

PLEASE NOTE! If you cannot see this tab in your Settings, you most likely do not have permission to work with budget in Cirrus.

Step 2.

Select the type of budget you want to add - Sales or Opportuinity/Pipeline.

Budgets for Sales are based on order value in Cirrus and budgets for Opportunity/Pipeline is based on won opportunities on the sales board.

Step 3.

Select the user you want to add budget to, and for what year. Click on the digit below the year of the selected user to edit.

Here you can fill in the annual budget for the users.

Add the full amount of your budget first. Then you can choose to either evenly distribute it per month or to Index Distribute per month.

There is also the option to copy the budget for the previous year right off by selecting Copy previous year.

❗Tip

If you wish to set the same budget for all users or departments, you can use the shortcut at the bottom right corner.
