What is OAuth login and how do I use it?

For some time now, some versions of Microsoft Outlook require login via 2fa / MFA. If you have Office365 and want to use this, proceed with the following steps:

If you are a Cirrus 2 user, contact us via email or chat to order this feature and we will get it started for you. This is free. When it is ready and we have confirmed that the connection is in progress, it's time to update your settings.

How to update your settings:

  1. Go to My Account and select the Email tab.

  2. Under Type of account, select 'Oauth' and click Save at the bottom right.

  3. Fill out your details under E-mail

  4. Click "Request Access".

  5. You will now see a message where you click "Authenticate".

  6. When you click it, you will be redirected to Microsoft to select an account. Select your email account and click Next.

  7. You now have to approve the login in your account. Click Accept. Done!βœ…
