You have the possibility to create automatic updates in the value of the sales project depending on which step it is currently in.

For example, the 'Probability' of the deal gradually increases with each step. To avoid having to set it manually each time, you can have the sales project update the number automatically.

In the example below, we have a 20% Probability on the first step in our sales project type called Opportunity identified.

How do I create an automatic update?

To create a control step, go to Settings > Categories > Type of Opportunity/Step and click on the pen icon next to the step you want to add the update for.

Here you see the steps in the column to the right. You can automatically update the following values:

  • Probability

  • Value

  • Cost

  • Automatic adjustment of decision date X days forward from today
