How does it work?
In short, you determine who in the organization is allowed to move a sales project to a certain stage/step. The sales project is then locked in that stage for everyone except the person with the authority to move the sales project forward.
How do I set up an access control for the pipeline?
Go to Settings > Categories > Type of Opportunity/Step and click on the pen icon next to the stage you want to control access for.
Here we have entered the "Opportunity identified" stage.
In the left column at the bottom, you see a list of all users in your portal. You select the users who are allowed to manage the sales project in the stage, hold down CTRL to select multiple or unselect.
