How to change responsible user on an Account

Here is how to update responsible user on account level

Need to update who is responsible for an account? There are two ways to do it, both listed below.


Here is how to do it from the Account

  1. Use the super search to find the Account you want to change responsible user on.

2. Click on the pen on the top right corner of the Account.

3. Choose the new user you want to be the owner of this Account on the left side and then click save.

DONE!

Here's how to do it from the Account Modal

  1. When you open an Account from an activity or from the account listning for example, you will see this Account modal. It's like a preview of the full Account where you can edit and access information without leaving the page you're currently working on in the background.
    ​
    While in this view, find the field for responsible user/salesrep and choose the user you want to change it to.

  2. Click save in the bottom right!
    ​

DONE!

If you can't access the pen button or save your changes, your account is probably restriced to edit responsible user. Reach out to your internal CRM-admin who can change this in Roles in the Settings menu.
