Once a Caregiver is added to the system, an automated email will be sent to the registered email address. This email will contain all the necessary details required for the Caregiver to log into the Caregiver app, including:
Agency ID
Username
Temporary Password
Registration Link
Setting Up the Caregiver Account
Upon clicking the registration link in the email, the Caregiver will be redirected to the CareSmartz360 Web Portal to set up a custom password and select a security question for account recovery.
To complete this step:
Enter the temporary password provided in the email.
Create a new, secure password.
Select and answer a security question for future account recovery.
Click the Update button to confirm changes, or Cancel to exit without saving changes.
Installing the CareSmartz360+ App
Caregivers need to download and install the CareSmartz360+ app on their mobile devices. The app is available on:
Google Play Store (for Android devices)
Apple App Store (for iPhones)
Logging Into the Caregiver App
After installing the app, Caregivers must log in using the following credentials:
Navigating the Caregiver App Dashboard
Once successfully logged in, Caregivers will be directed to the Dashboard, where they can view their ongoing and upcoming shifts.
Clocking In & Out
To Clock In and Clock Out, Caregivers need to:
Select the assigned shift from the dashboard.
Click Clock In at the beginning of the shift.
Click Clock Out once the shift is completed.
If the following error occurs, Caregivers should contact their agency for assistance.
Logging Breaks
To log a break:
Tap the Log a Rest Break button.
Select the type of break.
Enter the break duration in minutes.
Click Save to confirm.
Updating Tasks
During a shift, Caregivers can update tasks by selecting each task or at once by marking the circle as:
Complete
Not Complete (requires a reason)
Client Refused (requires a reason)
Not Applicable (requires a reason)
Additional Features
Caregivers may have access to additional features based on agency settings, including:
Add an Expense
Submit Feedback to clients' families
Visit Notes (Enter shift notes)
Mark Injury (Record any injuries during the shift)
Calendar & Shift Management
Assigned Shifts: Displays all upcoming assigned shifts.
Open Shifts: Shows unassigned shifts (if enabled by the agency). Caregivers can request to pick up shifts.
Available Shifts: Displays shifts assigned for caregivers to accept or decline.
Meetings: Shows upcoming staff meetings.
My Clients
Caregivers can view their client list, including:
Next scheduled shift
Emergency contacts
Care plan details
Address and directions
Profile Management
The Profile section includes:
Agency ID
Time Tracking ID
Logout option
Agency details
Dashboard Options
Caregivers may also access:
Key Documents: View/download agency-shared documents or upload personal documents.
Compliance: Track compliance deadlines (e.g., license renewals, insurance updates).
Unavailability: Set availability to help agencies assign schedules efficiently.

Pending Confirmation: Confirm upcoming shifts if required by the agency.
