You can read and respond to new incoming SMS messages from any screen in your CareSmartz360 portal. At the top right of every page, you will see a menu with several icons. The bell icon is for Alerts, and will show a red dot if there are any new unread messages.
Clicking on the bell will open a drop-down menu, which will show you incoming messages, such as messages from your caregivers. If there are any messages in this list that do not need a response, or which have already been actioned, you can clear them using the X button, or you can clear the whole list by clicking Dismiss All at the bottom of the drop-down.
Note that dismissing the messages will only remove them from this drop-down. They will still be accessible from other parts of the system, for example the Global SMS Logs widget on the Dashboard, or the Logs tab on the caregiver's profile.
Replying to a Message
To reply to a message directly from the drop-down, you can click the Reply button.
This will open the full messaging history with that contact. From this window, you can send a message by typing into the text box and clicking Send.
