When CareSmartz does our monthly enhancement release, we recommend that you clear your cache and cookies before you log in the next day.

Shortcut Clear Method

On Safari for Mac, the fastest way to clear your cache is to use the following shortcut while you have your Safari Browser open: [CMD] + [ALT] + [E].

Developer Clear Method

You can also enable a developer menu in Safari to enable several professional options. You can then clear your cache from there.

To display the developer menu:

  1. Select the first item "Safari" in the main menu and from the drop-down the select "Preferences"

  2. A popup opens. Click on the tab "Advanced".

  3. Check the option "Show Develop menu in menu bar" at the bottom.

You will now be able to see a new option, "Develop". Select "Develop", and click on "Empty Caches"

It is best to then close the browser and re-open it to start your work.
