Enabling the integration

Contents of this article

- You need to have a XERO account setup.

- The Integration scope includes only INVOICES at this stage, other features such as Payroll will be developed in a later stage.

- Invoices will be generated using the BILLING CONTACT information, not the client detail. Please check Client’s Care Plans for billing information

- Past (or legacy) invoices will not be synched. Only invoices generated after the synchronisation is on will my mirrored in XERO.

- Invoices data information will occur as the diagram below

1- Users need to have appropriate system role in order to access the sync settings

2- Navigate to Settings > Finance and click on “Connect to Xero”

3- Click on “link new Xero Organisation”

4- You will be redirected to a XERO page to allow ACCESS to xero

4. Complete the information as requested and click SAVE! Please read the explanation of fields if needed 😊

- Primary Organisation

- Sales

- Business Account

- Click SAVE!

- The invoices will keep the Caretaskr numbering reference

- Once you turn on the integration, you will see 2 new fields in the Price Book Items, and a new column within the sync status

- The invoice created in XERO will look like that

FAQ

- My Invoice didn’t sync!

If your invoice has failed to sync with Xero, try editing the billables and saving with 0 changes. This will trigger the sync to try again.

- How do I disconnect from Xero

Simply go to Finance > Xero Integration and click “Disconnect From Xero”.
