When a payment is made using Carpay (whether it is customer-initiated or dealer-assisted), that payment should automatically post to the customer's account within the Wayne Reaves DMS, without needing your approval.
However, if a payment is considered irregular, the payment will be sent to Wayne Reaves, but it requires further review.
Payments that need further review
The irregularities that stop payments from automatically reconciling and require your review are:
Side note balances
Late fee balances
Pickup payment balances
Partial payments
How to accept irregular payments
Inside of Wayne Reaves, select Take Payments or Batch Payments.
You will see a pop-up that states there are Online payments that need approval, select yes.
You will see a list of payments that need approval. Select the payments and click Take Payment.
This will then bring up the customer's account. Select Take Payment once more.
Allocate the payment accordingly, then click Save Payment.
The payment has now been successfully recorded from Carpay into Wayne Reaves.
