How to Choose Who Can Participate in Your Loyalty Program

Your loyalty program’s success hinges on defining who can participate. CASA Loyalty allows you to customize participation rules to align with your store’s goals and customer engagement strategy.


Here's a step-by-step guide to configure these settings.


Navigation

  1. Open the CASA Loyalty app from your Shopify dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click on Settings.

  3. Select Program Participants from the options in the Settings menu.


Program Participants Options

In the Program Participants section, you’ll find two options to determine who can participate in your loyalty program:

1. All Customers

  • Allow every customer, including guest users, to earn points, refer friends, and take part in your VIP incentives.

  • How it works:

    • Customers can earn points for purchases or activities, even without a store account.

    • To access their rewards or redeem points, they’ll need to create a store account at a later stage.

  • Best for: Maximizing engagement and making your program accessible to all.

2. Only Customers with a Store Account

  • Restrict participation to customers who create a store account.

  • How it works:

    • Customers must create an account before they can start earning points, referring friends, or participating in VIP tiers.

    • Points and rewards won’t be available for guest users.

  • Best for: Encouraging account creation and building a customer database.


3. Saving Your Changes

Once you've made your selection:

  1. Click the Save button at the top-right corner to confirm your changes.
