Overview:
Reward your customers on their special day with bonus loyalty points. The "Birthday" earning action allows customers to earn points twice—once for providing their birthday and again on their actual birthday.
Configuring the Birthday Reward
Navigate to CASA Loyalty in your Shopify Dashboard:
Open the CASA Loyalty app from your Shopify admin.
Select Program from the menu.
Access Points Setup:
In the Program section, click on Setup to view and manage ways to earn points.
Add a Way to Earn Points:
Click Add Ways to Earn and select Birthday from the list of available earning actions.
Set the Points Awarded:
Points for Adding Birthday: Enter the number of points customers receive when they provide their birthdate.
Example: 200 Points.Points on Birthday: Enter the number of points awarded on their actual birthday.
Example: 100 Points.
Activate or Disable the Reward:
Set the status to Active to enable the feature, or Disable to turn it off.
Customize the Icon:
Choose the default birthday icon or upload a custom icon to match your branding.
Save Your Changes:
Click Save to apply the configuration.
How It Works for Customers
Adding Their Birthday:
Customers can provide their birthdate through your store's interface.In the popup or customer profile section, customers will see an option to input their birthdate (as shown in the screenshot below).
Once they fill out their birthdate and save it, they will receive 200 points as a reward for completing this action.
Earning Points on Their Birthday:
On their birthday, the system will automatically reward the customer with 100 points to celebrate their special day.
Birthday points are credited once per year to make it exclusive and meaningful.

How the Birthday Reward Will Appear on Your Store:
Entering the Birthday:
Day: Start by entering the two digits for the day of your birth (e.g., "05" for the 5th).
Month: Next, input the two digits for the month (e.g., "08" for August).
Year: Finally, add the last two digits of your birth year (e.g., "98" for 1998 or "04" for 2004).
The system will automatically process this information and apply the correct format.
Privacy Consideration:
We understand that some individuals may feel sensitive about sharing their full birth year. To respect your privacy, only the last two digits are required, ensuring your information remains minimal and discreet.Save the Date:
Once all fields are filled, click the Save Date button. This will confirm the details and allow you to claim your reward points for adding your birthday.
