Casa Loyalty is one of the only apps that allows you to reward customers for legitimate Google Maps reviews. By enabling this feature, you can collect reviews for your store's physical location while rewarding your loyal customers with points. Here’s how you can set it up:
Step 1: Navigate to the Points Setup Page
Open the Casa Loyalty app dashboard.
In the left-hand menu, navigate to Programs > Points Setup.
Once the points page opens, click on "Add Ways to Earn".
A popup will appear. Scroll to the bottom and select the "Google Maps Review" option.
Step 2: Configure Google Maps Review Settings
After selecting the "Google Maps Review" option, you will see several fields that need to be configured:
Google Map URL
Paste the link to your store’s Google Maps address (physical store location where you want to collect reviews).
Enable Google Map and Add Coordinates
Click on "Enable Google Map".
Enter the map coordinates (latitude and longitude). These coordinates can be found on your store’s Google Maps address.
Google Maps API Key
You will need a Google Maps API Key to enable this feature.
How to Get Your Google Maps API Key:
Follow these steps to generate your API key:
Go to the Google Cloud Console:
Create a Project:
Click on the "Select a Project" dropdown at the top and then click "New Project".
Name your project and click "Create".
Enable the Maps JavaScript API:
In the left sidebar, go to APIs & Services > Library.
Search for "Maps JavaScript API" and click on it.
Click "Enable".
Generate Your API Key:
In the left sidebar, go to APIs & Services > Credentials.
Click on "Create Credentials" and select "API Key".
Your API key will appear on the screen. Copy it to your clipboard.
Paste the API Key into Casa Loyalty:
Return to Casa Loyalty and paste the key into the Google Maps API Key field.

Step 3: Set Reward Points
Choose how many points you want to reward customers for completing a Google Maps review.
Step 4: Select the Approval Type
Casa Loyalty provides two methods for approving Google Maps reviews:
Automatic Approval
Customers are rewarded with points immediately after they upload a picture/review.
Manual Approval
Customers submit their reviews and upload a screenshots.
You can review this screenshot in the Actions Tab of your app dashboard.
After verifying the review, you can manually approve and reward points to the customer.
