Order Discount.

The Order Discount feature allows customers to redeem loyalty points for discounts on their total order value at checkout. This makes shopping more rewarding, encourages repeat purchases, and strengthens customer loyalty.


How to Set Up the Order Discount Feature

Navigate to the Feature

  • Open the CASA Loyalty app dashboard.

  • Click on Program in the left-side menu.

  • Go to Points > Setup.

  • Scroll and Click on the Ways to Redeem button and select Order Discount.


Customize the Details

Custom Title and Subtitle:

  • Add a title and subtitle to help customers clearly understand how their points translate into order discounts.

  • Example: Use "200 Points = $5 Off" as a subtitle to show the value of their points.

You can also edit these same details for your landing page by clicking on the Landing Page button.


  1. Choose Points Redemption Style:

    CASA Loyalty offers two styles of point redemption. Pick the one that best suits your loyalty program:

    • Fixed Amount of Points:

      • Customers redeem points in a specific, predefined amount.

      • For example, a customer must redeem exactly 100 points to get 1$. This option is simple and ensures consistency in redemptions.

    • Increments of Points:

      • Customers can redeem points in incremental amounts.

      • For instance, a customer can redeem 100 points for 1$, likewise 200 points for 2$, and so on. This provides customers with more flexibility to redeem points based on the total they have accumulated.

      • You can also set:

        • A minimum number of points required to redeem the reward.

        • A maximum number of points a customer can spend on this reward.


  2. Apply the Discount:

    • Decide where the discount applies:

      • Entire Order: Customers can use their points for any item in their cart.

      • Specific Collection: Click on Browse and choose any specific product collection, ensuring you maintain control over which items are eligible.


  3. Set Minimum Purchase Requirements:

    • Add an optional minimum purchase requirement for customers to redeem their points.

    • For example:

      • A customer must make a minimum purchase of 10$ to apply the discount.


  4. Customize Discount Code:

    • Add a unique prefix to discount codes for easy identification. For example:

      • Prefix: LOYALTY.

      • Final discount code: LOYALTY100.


  5. Reward Expiry

    Enable the Reward Expiry feature to set a time limit for redeeming rewards. This option allows you to:

    • Expire issued rewards after a specified duration.

    • Available durations:

      • 6 months (encourages quicker redemptions).

      • 1 year (provides more flexibility for customers).


  6. Customize the Icon

    • Choose the default icon or upload your own to align with your branding.

  7. Activate or Deactivate the Feature:

    • Use the Status toggle to enable (Active) or disable (Disable) the feature as needed.

  8. Save Your Settings:

    • Once all configurations are complete, click Save to apply the changes and enable the feature.
