Looking for information about the bank level security we use in our service? You can read more about that here.

It's a one step process to invite your clients to send you their statements, and it's all in your app.

Head to the Statements page and click on the Send a statement request button. This will open a pop-up window with a few options.

Enter their details, and the date range of statements you'd like to receive. You can choose whether to send an sms, email or both.

Days to Sync

The Days to sync drop-down menu allows you to set the number of days going backwards you would like us to retrieve data for.

User can restrict accounts shared?

By turning this option on you will allow your clients to pick which accounts to send through statements for. This is useful where i.e. your client might have access to business accounts that are not required as part of your application. Choosing to have this option turned ON will allow them to exclude the business account in such a scenario.

Turning this option OFF will mean that all available statements for all accounts will be retrieved.

Institutions visible to client

You might be wondering which banks we are able to retrieve bank statements from for your clients. The truth is there is a large number of institutions we are able to access for bank statements and/or transaction and account data.

Changing this option in the drop-down menu will affect the total number of banks visible to your client when they search for a bank to log into. The total number of available institutions will be presented once you have selected an option.

With eStatements Only
If you would like to limit the number of institutions available to just those where statements are able to be retrieved choose this option.

With Transaction Listings & eStatements
A small number of banks are unable to supply eStatements, but we are still able to extract a PDF Transaction Listing for each account.

All (including balance-only and raw transactions)There is a larger number of institutions your client can log into BUT we won't be able to retrieve PDF copies of bank statements & transaction listings. We can still retrieve account data such as balance &/or raw transaction data. This data is still very useful for inclusion in your Expenses Report.

Institutions Search

The institutions tab gives you another way to find what we can retrieve for different banks. If you start adjusting the Institutions visible to client drop-down list, the available institutions and logo's listed to the right will automatically update. You can then scroll down the list to see the exact list your clients will see.

If you prefer to search for a particular institution by typing in a name, it pays to set the Institutions visible to client option to ALL (Including balance-only and raw transaction) as shown in the screenshot below. If you don't change this setting to include ALL you may not return a result in the search.

CashDeck will return all the statements that are available at the time of retrieval, but we can't always guarantee a complete set.
