What does this mean?

This error occurs when the bank is requesting the account holder to review and respond to a prompt before external connections (like ours) can proceed. These messages typically appear when logging in through the bank’s website.

Common examples include:

  • Accepting updated terms and conditions

  • Confirming communication preferences (e.g., email, SMS)

  • Responding to event-related prompts (e.g., natural disaster check-ins)

  • Other informational or consent-related notices from the bank

How to resolve it:

Ask your client to log into their online banking via a web browser and respond to any messages or prompts. Once those are cleared, they can return to our platform and reconnect their bank account using the secure link.
