How to Enable Macro's for Excel in Windows

Add CashDeck as a Trusted Site, or unblock in your file security settings.

Windows users may find their settings in Excel prevent them from opening a report that contains a macro. Luckily this is easy to update.

To enable macro's for any CashDeck reports you download, check out the step-by-step details below.

  1. In Windows, search for Internet Options, and select.

2. Select the Local Intranet option highlighted below, then click the Sites button.

3. If the window below pops up, click on Advanced. If not, skip to the next step.

4. Add the following website to the zone and click Add, as highlighted in the screenshot below.

https://my.cashdeck.com.au (copy this link).

5. From now on, whenever you download a report from CashDeck, you will only need to click the Enable Content button shown below.

How to Enable for a Single Report

If you don't add CashDeck as a trusted site, you will need to unblock your report before you can view the details held within it. To do this follow the steps below.

  1. Find your file on your computer, and right-click on it, then choose Properties as highlighted below.

2. Place a check in the box highlighted below to unblock the report, then click Apply then OK.

3. All you need to do next is open your client's report, and click the Enable Content button shown below.
