Override External App Settings

External platforms select request options for any requests created via that platform. You can override those request settings.

Some external platforms—like Salestrekker, Mystro, or others—automatically apply default settings when creating requests via their systems. Now, you have the option to override those settings directly from your CashDeck account.

🛠 What Settings Are Controlled by External Apps?

By default, your external integration may set:

  • The data sync period (e.g. 93, 184, or 365 days)

  • Whether or not your client can restrict which accounts are shared

🔄 How to Override These Settings

You can change these defaults by configuring your External App Overrides in your CashDeck account.

  1. Go to Your Account > Settings > External App Overrides

  2. Select your preferred request settings

    • Choose your default sync period

    • Enable/disable account restriction by client

✅ What Happens Next?

Once you’ve saved your override settings:

  • Any new request created via an external platform will use your custom settings, not the external app’s defaults.
