Philippines - How to take a screenshot or screen recording to report an issue

Here’s how to capture a screenshot or screen recording on various devices:

Mobile Phones

  1. Navigate to the screen you want to capture

    → Open the app, webpage, or screen you wish to save as an image.

  2. Locate the power and volume down buttons

    → These are typically on the side of your phone.

  3. Press both buttons simultaneously

    → Press and hold the power and volume down buttons at the same time.

  4. Observe the visual cue

    → The screen will usually flash, or you might see a thumbnail preview,

    indicating the screenshot was taken.

  5. Access your screenshot

    → Open your gallery or photos app and find the "Screenshots" folder to view your captured image.

Mobile Phones

Screen Recording

  1. Access Quick Settings

    → Swipe down twice from the top of your screen to fully expand the Quick Settings panel.

  2. Locate Screen Record

    → Look for the "Screen Record" icon, which is usually a circle inside a rectangle.

    If you don't see it, you may need to edit your Quick Settings and add it.

  3. Edit Quick Settings (if needed)

    → Tap the Edit (pencil icon) or More option, find Screen Record,

    and drag it to the active Quick Settings area.

  4. Select Audio Options

    → Choose whether to record audio from your device, your microphone, or both.

  5. Start Recording

    → Tap "Start" to begin the recording. A countdown timer may appear before the recording starts.

  6. Stop Recording

    → When you're done, swipe down again and tap the Stop button in the notification panel.

  7. Find Your Recording

    → Open the Photos app, go to Library, and then tap Movies to view your screen recordings.

▶ Snipping Tool

→ Press Windows key + Shift + S to activate the snipping tool overlay. Select your desired

capture area (rectangle, window, or full screen).

▶ Problem Steps Recorder (PSR)

→ Search for "psr" in the Start menu, click "Start Record", and follow the steps.

PSR captures screenshots and mouse clicks with text descriptions.

▶ Print Screen (PrtScn)

→ Pressing the PrtScn key copies the entire screen to the clipboard.
