What is Magic Chat?

MagicChat is like chatGPT, but for your own recording - and it allows you to customize and templatize content exactly to your needs.

How does it work?

Magic Chat is especially helpful if you want something different than what was generated in your AI content tab, and opens you up to all the customization Castmagic has to offer.

To use it, just type a command on the Magic Chat tab and hit 'Generate'.

What is Magic Chat Good For?

  • It’s great for generating content related to your particular file
.. title suggestions, short blog posts, emails, quizzes, summaries, cheat sheets etc

  • Great as a playground to find your favorite prompts

What are Magic Chat’s limitations?

  • identifying timestamps, specific quotes, and time related data

  • these can be found in the AI content tab under Clip finder & Timestamps

  • identifying specific resources and links mentioned in the dialogue

What prompts should I try?

Here are some prompts you could try to get started:

  • 1️⃣ "Write a TL;DR of this episode"

  • 2️⃣ "What are the key lessons covered in this recording?"

  • 3️⃣ "Write a blog post about [insert topic] based on the recording."

  • 4️⃣ "Write a summary about this conversation in Spanish."

Save as Prompt

Think of every prompt you make like an experiment. Once you find a prompt that you like, you can save it so it becomes a custom output for every one of your shows.

Love the result of a prompt?

  • Hit “save as prompt” to run this prompt on your AI content tab for all future & past files

  • Perfect for more generic prompts, not specific to a single files content

💡PRO TIP: Use tone, formatting, and topic instructions in your prompt. i.e. "based on the context, write a 5 post twitter thread about [insert topic of your choice]. start with a hook, end with a CTA. keep the tone concise, informational, and casual."
