Castmagic Zoom Integration Documentation
Adding the Castmagic App to Zoom
💡 Please make sure you have a zoom pro account to have access to cloud recordings and the ability to use this integration with castmagic.
Login to Castmagic:
Navigate to your user settings page.
Go to Integrations:
Click on "User Settings."
Navigate to "Integrations."
Find "Zoom Integration" at the bottom.
Enable Integration:

Usage
Prerequisites:
Ensure your meetings are recorded in Zoom.
Only one Zoom account can be linked to a Castmagic account at a time.
Import Recordings:
Go to the Castmagic home page or media library.
Click on "Import Audio or Video."
Select "Import from Zoom."
Browse through the months to find the desired recording.
Hover over the recording and click "Import."
Create a new transcript in Castmagic with the imported recording.
Removing the App
Login to Zoom:
Go to Zoom App Marketplace.
Navigate to "Manage" > "Added Apps" under "Personal App Management."
Remove Castmagic:
Find "Castmagic" under "Apps in Production."
Click "Remove" and confirm the action.
Implications:
Removing the app will revoke Castmagic’s access to your Zoom account.
Ensure to revoke access from the first Castmagic account before authorizing a new account.
Troubleshooting
Finding Recordings:
When selecting "Zoom" as the import option, scroll through the different months to locate the desired recording.
Recording Availability:
Only cloud recordings can be accessed by Castmagic.
Ensure your meetings are recorded in Zoom and stored in the cloud.
Account Linking:
A Zoom account can only be connected to one Castmagic account at a time. Revoke access from the previous account if needed.
