Catalyst offers a full refund on Challenge purchases under specific conditions. If you have not placed any trades and your request is within 14 days of purchase, you are likely eligible. This article covers exactly when a refund is and is not available, how to request one, and what to expect.
When a refund is available
A refund may be approved if all of the following are true:
Your request is submitted within 14 days of your original purchase date
No trades have been placed on the account — not a single trade of any size
The purchase is a Challenge entry fee — not a reset
No prior refund has been issued on the same Challenge type for your account
You can log in, browse the platform, and review markets without affecting your refund eligibility. Eligibility is lost the moment a trade is placed, not when you first access the account.
When a refund is not available
Any trade has been placed on the account — even one trade of any size
The request is submitted more than 14 days after the original purchase date
The purchase is a reset — reset purchases are final and non-refundable
The request is based on trading results, losses, or dissatisfaction with platform mechanics
A prior refund has already been issued on the same Challenge type for your account
How to request a refund
Contact support and include:
Your account email address
The date of purchase
The last 4 digits of the card used for payment
A brief explanation of your request
Refunds are returned to the original payment method only. They cannot be redirected to a different card, a wallet, or a third party.
How long refunds take
