Your customized Donation Form on CauseVox can easily be embedded right on your website, making giving through your donation form seamless.

Follow the instructions below to learn How To Embed Your Donation Form.

Types Of Donation Form Embeds

  1. Pop-up Donation Form Embed - When a donate button on your website is clicked, the donation form will be triggered to pop up on any page of your website.

  2. On-Page Donation Form Embed - You can embed the donation form on your website directly. This is usually done on a landing page.

Here's how the pop-up embeddable donation form looks on a website:

You can trigger the donation form with an Unstyled Link, or standard web link. The Styled Button, lets you use a pre-made clickable button that you can add to any webpage.

With the embeddable form, donating will be easier than ever, keeping donors right on your website.

How To Embed Your Donation Form

Step 1: Under Campaigns select the Settings (gear icon) of the form you wish to embed.

Step 2: Under Donation Forms, select your donation form.

Step 3: Select Embed Code from the left navigation. Under Global Javascript Code (Required) select Copy To Clipboard and paste the Javascript code into your website HTML right before the closing </head> tag.

Step 5: Choose one of the two embed code options below. For an on-page embed, under Embed a Donation Form, select Copy To Clipboard and paste the embed code into your website HTML where you'd like it to be displayed on the page.

If you'd like to embed a button to trigger the pop-up embed, under Embed a Donation Button, select Copy To Clipboard and paste the button code into your website HTML where you'd like it to be displayed on the page.

Additional Notes

Where you need to navigate to install this can look different depending on your website builder.

Here's how to install on Wordpress (popup or on-page embed).

While Wix is best suited for the pop-up embed option, you can paste both the Global Javascript code and the on-page (or button popup) embed code within the same Wix embed HTML code block.

For GoDaddy Website Builder, due to their limited customization capabilities, only the on-page embed will work at this time.
