Once you have set up the Recurring Donation feature (please refer to ‘How To Set Up Recurring Donations’ under the Settings chapter of this User Guide), your donors can opt in to become a recurring donor by clicking on the recurring donation check box that appears when they want to donate.
Your donor can update their credit card or suspend their recurring donation using a secure link provided in their receipts.
If your donor contacts you requesting to cancel their recurring donation, you can do so for them.
Step 1: Login to your account.
Step 2: Click on the appropriate campaign site.
Step 3: You will now be on the campaign Manage tab. On your Manage tab, select Recurring Donors.
Step 4: Now you can access a list of your recurring donors. Click on the donor/donors you want to edit.
Step 5: Select the Quick Actions button in the upper right corner and click "Suspend" to stop recurring donations.
Or, select "Delete Profile" from the dropdown menu in the upper right corner to permanently delete their recurring gift and recurring donor profile.
After you save, they will no longer be billed monthly.
Your donor may also want to update their credit card on File
If your recurring donor wants to update their name, address, recurring donation amount, or the credit card on file, you can send them a secure link to their email which allows them to update their information.
To do this, just select "Send Admin Link" from the "More" dropdown menu.
If a donor wishes to change the email address for their recurring donation, email us at email@example.com.
