Learn how to make your account access more secure

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Two-Factor Authentication is a security feature that prevents anyone from accessing your account, even with your password.

To activate it, you must go to the following page and click on the Two-Factor Authentication button: 🔗 Personal Information

Once this is done, you need to install the app

Then click on the "+" button in the bottom right corner, then "Scan a QR code" and then scan the QR code in Cbet:

You will then have your code automatically generated to connect to Cbet:

You must then enter the app-generated code on your phone to confirm.

Once Two-Factor Authentication has been confirmed, when you log in to your Cbet account, you will have to use your usual password, and then the code generated by the app on your phone.

Once you activate the "Two-Factor Authentication" security mechanism, you will receive a list with back-up codes. You should write them down and keep them safe.

With any of these codes you can log in to your account.

If at any time you wish to disable Two-Factor Authentication, simply go to the "Personal information" page

In the top right corner, click deactivate:

This way you will be able to access your account again with only your password.

ATTENTION: In case you lose the back-up codes to access your account, you will need to contact us, and to do so, please, prepare the following information:

1> Your full name, date of birth, your username and email registered on the account

2> A screenshot with the message in red

3> A Face ID (a photograph of you holding the document legible and unblurred near your face) as below 🙂 🙂

4> And also the photos of the document alone, front and back please. To take the photos, please remove the document from the protective plastic to avoid reflection.

5> Send this information to our LiveChat to our agents

Our support team will receive your request and forward it to our Security, Risk and Fraud Department so that they can assist you.

You will be informed by email as soon as this happens. 😊

Thank you for your understanding and trust in our work 🤗
