CBRE Plans makes it easy to customize test fits using the test fit editor.

To create a test fit, click the floor and then the suite you'd like to work on. On the suite page, you'll be able to select a template to work from. Clicking "Create A New Test Fit" creates a copy of that template, that opens into the Test Fit Editor. This copy is now your test fit, and can be edited as needed.

Once in the editor, you can retitle your test fit or add a prospect logo. You can also change the space types shown on the plan.

To edit space types, click and drag on the plan to select any room or area. Once you've made a selection, the furniture options for that space become available on the left hand side. Enclosed furniture types include offices and conference rooms. Open furniture types include workstations, benching, and break out areas.

Spaces can be made larger or smaller by selecting the desired number of cells and clicking the furniture type. The furniture will adjust to fit the most efficient layout possible in the space selected. You can make a strip of any enclosed room type by selecting “fill with” under the room type options. You’ll notice that the headcount and metrics on the floor update automatically as changes are made.

TIP: Use 'Next Room Layout' to be given a variety of different layout or furniture options.

Changes to the floor save automatically. To deselect a space that you have highlighted, click outside of the testfit, or click in the white circulation space. You can also select multiple spaces at one time to speed up the process.

To exit the editor, click the "X" in the upper left corner. You'll return to the suite page, and you'll see your saved test fit under "My Test Fits". To continue editing, click "Edit This Test Fit" to reopen editor mode.
