WebGL enables your machine to render 3D and supports the graphics that bring your layouts to life. The browser Google Chrome allows WebGL to run, which is why we recommend this browser when navigating your space in 3D.

It may happen that occasionally WebGL can be disabled after doing an update to your system or browser, resulting in the following error: "We’re unable to load Plans 3D using your browser settings."

To fix this error and enable exploring in 3D, follow these steps:

1.) Launch Google Chrome (make sure you're using the correct browser!)

2.) Enter Chrome://flags in URL browser

  • You can use the search bar on the very top of the page to find these options quickly.

3.) Enable "Override software rendering list" (first option in the list) should look like this:

4.) Enable "WebGL Draft Extension" should look like:

5.) Click "Relaunch Browser" in the bottom right hand corner

6.) Test Plans 3D!

7.) If you continue to have issues, please email your production manager or PlansSupport@cbre.com
