Errors or Warning Signs

When making changes and adjustments to your testfit in Plans, a yellow warning icon may appear on certain parts of your floor. Hover over the icon to learn more about why the issue has occurred. There are normally two common causes to the warning icon presenting itself to you whilst editing your testfit.

No access to circulation space

A warning symbol may appear on your testfit if there is not enough access to the white, circulation (or corridor) space within your office floor. The Plans application will not add certain spaces to your testfit, unless they can be easily accessible from the designated circulation path.

To solve this issue, highlight a larger area within your testfit so that there is enough access to the circulation space and reassign the space. For example, in the image below, when trying to add an office here, Plans will flag the warning of 'no access to circulation'.

Too small to auto-fill the space

Another reason why you may receive a warning sign, is that the cells you have selected are too small to auto-fill the space. For example, in the video below the area selected is too small to create an conference, with the fixtures and furnishings to fit inside. To resolve this issue, either choose another space type that may be able to fit into the area you have selected or highlight more cells for the space to fit.

We apologize, something went wrong

The only other warning sign you may receive would be one stating ‘We apologize, something went wrong’ or, ‘How embarrassing please try again’. This normally occurs when there is a connection issue, which could be due to losing internet connection or our application has lost its connection to the server. These warning signs are less common, but if you do receive these specific warnings, please check your WiFi connection, or get in touch with the team.
