Massage Guidance for Clients Undergoing Cancer Treatment

Cecily Berkhamsted | Marlow | Windsor

At Cecily, your comfort and wellbeing are at the heart of what we do.

If you are currently undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment (e.g., chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or surgery), we kindly ask that you:

  • Get approval from your GP or specialist, and

  • Bring a short letter of consent to your appointment

This helps us ensure your massage is safe, comfortable, and tailored to your needs.

Why Do I Need Medical Consent?

Cancer treatments can affect your skin, immune system, and circulation. With your doctor’s guidance, we can adapt the treatment appropriately — using gentle techniques, avoiding sensitive areas, and offering the safest possible experience.

After Treatment?

Yes, many clients return post-treatment and benefit greatly from massage. Just let us know your history, and we’ll take care of the rest.

We're Here to Help
