What should I do if I lack the required IDs for signing up?

In order to successfully complete the onboarding process and activate your business on our platform, it is essential to provide the required identification documents. These documents are necessary for regulatory compliance and to ensure the legitimacy of your business.

What to Do if You Don’t Have the Required IDs:

  • Acquire the Necessary IDs: If you don’t currently have the required IDs, we strongly recommend that you begin the process of obtaining them as soon as possible. This will help ensure that your business can proceed with the onboarding process without delays.

  • Required IDs: Depending on your business structure and jurisdiction, you may need to provide documents such as:

    • Personal identification (e.g., passport, national ID, driver’s license)

    • Business registration documents

    • Proof of address for both the business and ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs)

  • Compliance Necessity: Without these necessary IDs, Cedar cannot activate your business account due to strict regulatory compliance requirements.
