OLNS | How to create new NetSuite records from CloudExtend Outlook

This article assumes that users have full permissions enabled in NetSuite for the records. If you want to prevent users from editing or creating records see this article.

Watch this video or follow the steps below.

Step 1: ย Click on the plus sign and then choose the record type you want to create.
โ€‹

Step 2: ย Configure your standard and custom fields for each different record type (GIF below) but more on that here.

Step 3: Fill in the relevant information and hit Save.

๐Ÿ’ก Note: When creating contacts, make sure when you enter the company you hit ENTER after, to ensure CloudExtend searches and associates the contact with the company.

Your contact is now created in NetSuite!
