FAQ: Event recurrence and exceptions in CloudExtend Google Calendar

Gmail NextGen | CloudExtend syncs exception based changes to Calendar events

Updated over a week ago

One of the most powerful features of the NetSuite–Google Calendar sync tool is its ability to handle recurring events in both directions. As recurring events are created in NetSuite or Google calendars, they are mapped with exactly the same recurrence pattern to the other application by the sync.

Event Exceptions

An Event Exception is simply an instance of the event that breaks its recurrence pattern. For example, you may have a status meeting that occurs every Friday at 3:30 pm. If for some reason, you need to decline the event on your calendar for just the next Friday, you will be creating an exception to the Weekly Status Meeting event on this date.

CloudExtend Google Calendar can sync exceptions from the NetSuite Calendar to Google and vice versa.
