When creating Calendar events in Google Calendar, they will 1. sync over to your NetSuite Calendar and 2. they will also sync over to the record in NetSuite (based on the email addresses of the invitees) in the below order, stopping whenever we find a match:
For example: I create an event in Google and invite Jessica Nana and Chris Corcoran.
The event syncs to your NetSuite Calendar and also to the Activities tab of the related records below based on the rules above.
- Customer Socially Savvy Studio (because Jessica Nana's email is on the customer record)
- Employee Chris Corcoran (because it is the first record to match his email) and
- Employee Justine Burdo (because it is the first record to match her email).
NOTE: Even though Jessica Nana has a Contact record as well as a Company record with the same email address, it will sync to the Customer record because a Customer record was found first based on this order:
If Jessica Nana had no Customer record, it would then sync to her Contact record instead (assuming the email address was associated with her Contact record).
