About

Adding a PDF menu to your website can be a great option, especially if you already have a professional design created by a graphic designer that aligns perfectly with your brand's visual identity. CentralApp allows you to easily publish your menu in PDF format.

However, to maximize your SEO, it's better to add a detailed menu directly to your site. This will allow Google to index your information and improve your visibility in search results.

Create and add a PDF menu

Go to the site editor and navigate to the "Menu" option. Click on the "Create a menu" button on the right side of the page and select "Add a PDF menu."

Then fill in the required information: the name of the menu, a description if needed, a photo if you wish, and your PDF menu.

Publish your menu

Once your menu is ready to be published, save it and choose whether you want it displayed permanently, from a certain date, or during a specified period.

To ensure the menu appears correctly on your site, make sure the MENU option is published.

👋 Recommendations for PDF Export

To achieve the best result, we recommend using the A4 format, which allows for smooth browsing, whether page by page or with infinite scrolling. On mobile, we automatically apply an infinite scroll layout, while both views are available on desktop.

It is also recommended to request an export with vectorized text and compressed images, rather than text as an image. Some designers refer to this method as "Export for the web," as it ensures better display quality compared to the blurry text often found in current PDF files.
