How can I add a document that I scanned myself to the Manuals & Guides section?

Adding a scanned manual.

Sometimes we can't find the manual for older or obscure items, but if you happen to have a scanned PDF version of the manual or other guides, we will be happy to add it for you in the app.  All you have to do is send it to us.   

For your privacy, we do not have access access to images, documents or other content that you add in the app yourself under the "My" sections, so we cannot get it from there. 

Note that any user with the same item will have access to the manual that we add under Manuals & Guides

Follow these steps to request that we add a specific manual for you in the app:   

  1. Log in to Centriq.

  2. Select the item.

  3. Navigate to the Manuals & Guides section below the item details and expand the section, if necessary.

  4. Select the last card in the group which shows an envelope icon (contact us).  
    The app opens your email app or a in-app chat message with  most of the necessary information filled in.  We need the manufacturer and model number to correctly identify the item. 

  5. Type in what you are specifically looking for or attach the document and send.  

Any content submitted by users will always have to be reviewed to ensure that it is appropriate for the app.  

You also have the option of adding any PDF for your personal use under My Documents.  Files added here are not accessible to other users with the same item.
