How do I delete an item?

Delete/remove an item that was entered in error or is no longer in your home.

To delete an item from the app open that item, select the pencil icon, and click the delete button. See below for more detailed steps:

To delete an item while viewing the group (web app only): 

  1. Open the web app by going to app.mycentriq.com.

  2. Open the group where the item is categorized.
    You can also open the files view to see all of the items your account by selecting the Files icon at the top of the screen.

  3. Tap the Pencil icon that appears next to the group name to enter Edit mode.. 

  4. Tap the "x" that appears on the item you want to delete.

  5. Tap the check mark in the upper right corner to exit the Edit mode and finish.

To delete an item while viewing the item: 

  1. Select the item to open the "Item Detail" screen. 

  2. Select the Pencil icon that appears next to the item name to enter Edit mode.
    If you don't see the pencil icon, it is possible that the Item Display Name is too long and is obscuring it.  Try deleting the item from the Group view instead. 

  3. Scroll to show the Delete button, and click Delete
