We're not lawyers—just friendly helpers! 🍻 This document isn’t intended to serve as legal advice. Alcohol laws are like recipes—every city, county, and state has its own unique regulations. For the most accurate guidance on local rules, reach out to your state liquor control board (they're the real experts here). While Certivance provides resources and keeps an eye on state-level regulations, always double-check with your local authorities—because even the best need a second opinion! 😉

State Training Program:
The Florida Responsible Vendor Program (RVP) is a voluntary initiative designed to train alcohol servers and managers in responsible alcohol service while ensuring compliance with state laws. The program aims to reduce underage drinking, decrease DUI fatalities, protect businesses from legal liabilities and fines, and foster a professional, responsible alcohol service environment.
To qualify for the program, businesses must ensure their employees and managers receive proper training, maintain training records, implement a written policy against serving alcohol to minors, and take immediate action to dismiss employees caught using controlled substances on the premises.
Businesses that successfully complete and maintain compliance with the program can benefit from reduced liability insurance premiums, mitigation rights against fines or license suspensions, and lower insurance rates, helping them operate more safely and efficiently.
