We're not lawyers—just friendly helpers! 🍻 This document isn’t intended to serve as legal advice. Alcohol laws are like recipes—every city, county, and state has its own unique regulations. For the most accurate guidance on local rules, reach out to your state liquor control board (they're the real experts here). While Certivance provides resources and keeps an eye on state-level regulations, always double-check with your local authorities—because even the best need a second opinion! 😉

State Training Program:

In Nevada, the Nevada Alcohol Education Program is mandated by NRS 369.630 for anyone who serves, sells, or works as security in a licensed liquor establishment. As part of the state's commitment to promoting responsible alcohol service, all individuals in these roles are required to obtain a Nevada Alcohol Education Card within 30 days of being hired.

This training program covers essential topics such as understanding state alcohol laws, preventing underage sales, recognizing signs of intoxication, handling difficult situations, and ensuring compliance with legal responsibilities. Upon successful completion of the training, individuals receive an alcohol education card, which must be renewed periodically. By requiring this education, Nevada helps to ensure that employees are well-equipped to serve alcohol responsibly, reducing the risk of alcohol-related incidents and promoting a safer environment for both businesses and patrons.
