Variants for Shopify work great, but some times you as a merchant might want to have separate primary products for variants of color.

If you do this and still want the images/video in Cevoid to be shared across these primary variants all you need to do is add a unifying tag (in Shopify) to your products.

Steps

  1. Go to the product page of the product you wish to group together to other products.

  2. Add a tag prefixed with and a unique identifier after: _cevoid: my-product-identifier

  3. Add the exact same tag to all other products you want to group together and you're done! Products with the same _cevoid tag will now share Images and Videos across the product page gallery.

The tag could look something like this: _cevoid: running-shorts

Multiple tags

Products can have multiple _cevoid: tags if you need to group products together in other ways as well. For example if you have a product that bundles together multiple products and sell as a bundle. You can use the same methodology.
