A: The difference between Banker and Player plays in comparison to a Tie play is primarily based on the game's outcome. If a round results in a Tie and your plays are on the Banker or Player, those plays neither win nor lose. Conversely, a Tie play will always result in a definitive win or loss.

In baccarat, a Banker play can only win if the Banker’s hand wins; a Player play can only win if the Player hand wins; a Tie play can only win if the two hands have the same value at the end of the game.
