Connect Microsoft 365 so your organisation can review its own Message Center announcements in ChangePilot. You can explore the beta using the standard feed before connecting a tenant.
Before you start
Connecting a tenant is a Plus feature, and Plus includes one tenant. Use a Microsoft account authorised to grant the required administrator consent for the tenant. Check that you are connecting the intended organisation and have approval under your organisation's application-consent process. A normal ChangePilot sign-in does not itself connect Microsoft 365.
Connect the tenant
Open Settings and Notifications and review the tenant connection page.
Choose View permissions and connect to Microsoft 365.
Sign in to Microsoft with the appropriate administrator account. Check the tenant, application and requested permissions on the Microsoft consent screen.
Grant consent if the details are correct, then return to ChangePilot.
Check the connection status. Once the first import completes, review Message Center again.
What changes after connection
The standard Message Center feed can include products you do not use and omit messages targeted specifically at your tenant. Connecting supplies tenant-specific Message Center data to the organisation. The first import is not immediate. Check the connection status and the feed's refresh information; contact support if connected data does not appear.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap and Azure Updates remain global sources. Connecting a tenant does not make either source a list of deployments confirmed for your environment.
Understand the permissions
The connection uses read access to Microsoft service communications. Review the consent screen as the definitive list of requested permissions. Start consent from this SaaS app's own tenant settings. Older permission guides may contain connection links for the legacy portal; do not use those links to connect the new SaaS service. Reading an announcement does not apply its recommended configuration changes.
If connection does not complete
Check the selected Microsoft account and tenant, whether your role permits consent, and whether your organisation restricts enterprise applications. Record the error and time without sharing tokens. If the status is connected but the expected messages remain absent after the first processing window, contact support with the tenant name, item IDs and the status shown.
