Understand the planned Roadmap Explorer and mobile experience

Planned public browsing, analytics and feeds, and how they differ from the SaaS beta.

Written by Tom Arbuthnot

Planned features: this guide describes future product surfaces. It does not mean the public Explorer, analytics, RSS or native apps are already available in the SaaS beta.

Public Roadmap Explorer

The planned Explorer is a public, searchable resource for Microsoft 365 Roadmap and Message Center information. Both datasets are intended to have full item pages, source content, ChangePilot analysis, impact information, history and related-item links.

The design includes anonymous searching and filtering by the supported metadata. It is separate from signed-in Free, Plus and Business accounts. Saved Views, personal tracking, tenant data and paid integrations belong to the signed-in product. Azure inclusion in the public Explorer is not yet decided.

Planned analytics and feeds

Public analytics are intended to show new and meaningfully updated items, upcoming releases, workload and impact distributions, and change volumes over time. Charts should link to the matching filtered items.

The machine-readable design includes predefined RSS feeds, a public JSON item index, llms.txt and an open-source agent skill for public data. It does not include an anonymous public MCP endpoint. These should not be confused with the authenticated MCP server available now.

Mobile access

The current SaaS beta uses responsive web pages for feeds, search, filters, item details and personal review controls. Use the menu and Filters controls on a smaller screen. An internet connection is required.

Installable PWA behaviour and future native iOS and Android experiences are part of the broader design. There is no promised offline workflow or released native-app installation link in this guide.

Existing customers and Enterprise (ChangePilot On-Tenant)

Existing portal customers should continue using their current service unless the team arranges a move. Enterprise (ChangePilot On-Tenant) is a separate product for work management in the customer's Microsoft environment. These SaaS instructions do not configure its Dataverse, Power Apps or work-management workflows.
