How to Request and Collect Customer Photos for a Smooth Move

Easily collect photos from customers for better move preparation using Chariot’s Request Photos feature via text or email.

Overview

To ensure your move team is fully prepared, you can request photos from customers directly through Chariot. This feature simplifies the process of gathering essential photos, such as inventory, tight spaces, or parking options, to help execute a smooth and efficient move.


How to Access the Feature

  1. Access the Feature:

    1. Open any job or lead in Chariot.

    2. Click on the Actions menu.

    3. Select Request Photo Uploads.

  2. Choose a Delivery Method:

    1. Send the photo upload portal to the customer via Text or Email. Both will be selected by default.

    2. Optionally, use the Preview Uploads Portal option to see how the upload portal will appear for the customer.

  3. Customer Uploads Photos:

    1. The customer receives a link to the Photo Upload Portal.

    2. Once they open the portal, they'll click Upload Photos, add their photos, and submit them.

    3. Customers can also view general move details in the portal.

  4. Review the Uploaded Photos:

    1. Once uploaded, photos appear in the Inventory Tab.

    2. A badge will display the number of photos submitted.

    3. Click on the photos to view them in full detail.
