Introduction
Changes to booked jobs are inevitable, and at Chariot, we understand the importance of flexibility in managing these situations. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of making changes to a booked job on the Chariot schedule and how to send a new estimate if needed.
Step-by-Step Guide: Modifying a Booked Job
Locate the Job:
Access the job details easily by navigating to the specific job using the search function or finding a job through the jobs dashboard.
Navigate to Details:
Click on "Details" and select "See Details" to view the specifics of the job.
Make Changes:
Update any relevant information based on customer requests, such as additional inventory or other modifications.
**Note: When changes are made to a job with the Booked stage and then saved, the job will moved be Booked* stage.
Please verify all jobs in the Booked* stage, to verify any changes that were made, were entered properly.
After Changes Have Been Made:
Option 1: Send a New Estimate:
Chariot prompts you to send a new estimate to the customer. When signed, the job transitions back to a booked state.
Option 2: Resolve Back to Booked:
Alternatively, you can choose to resolve the job back to a booked state without sending a new estimate.
Monitoring and Finalizing Changes
Monitoring Changes:
If more changes are expected or pending, leave the job in the "booked star" state. It will appear orange on the schedule, indicating that further actions are needed.
Finalizing Changes:
Once satisfied with the modifications, confirm the changes and the job status will be updated accordingly.
Conclusion
Managing changes to booked jobs in Chariot is a straightforward process, providing you with the flexibility to adapt to customer requests seamlessly. Whether you choose to send a new estimate or resolve back to booked, Chariot ensures clarity and ease in handling modified job details.
