Our intelligent search engine will help you identify a charity by name or keyword by simply using the search feature located at the top of every page. Then you can refine your search using the Custom Search function. This tool enables you to filter by cause, state, rating, size, and which beacons are scored.

Tools for registered users are designed for philanthropists who want to take a more in-depth look at the charitable sector. Registration allows you to access expanded features, including the ability to create a personalized portfolio of charities and see more in-depth financial data on your favorite charities. Registered users also receive our newsletter keeping them informed of new trends in charitable giving. Registered users of our website can take advantage of the “My Favorites” feature, which allows you to save charities that you’re interested in.

When you view a charity’s rating page, you can click the “Favorite” button (to the right of the red Donate button) to add the charity to your favorites list.

Your favorites list can be accessed from your Charity Navigator Registered User account. This is located at the top of the website (in the dark blue section) via the link that lists your name once logged in.
