  1. How accurate is your Revenue Estimate?

    1. The Revenue Estimate is the only number we’re guessing at in Charm- hence why it’s in beta. Our customers have found this figure useful for market segmentation purposes.

  2. How come all the tabs on my brand report aren’t loading?

    1. Charm collects, aggregates, and indexes publicly available data. At times, some brands don't have every attribute of data available. If you notice a brand that is missing data please alert us and we'll look into why it may be missing.

  3. Over what time frame is the Growth Score calculated?

    1. This measurement is calculated from multiple time frames; all time growth, 12M, 6M, 3M, and 1M. The score is biased towards recent growth.

  4. What channels does the Growth Score track?

    1. Growth score tracks all channels in the snowflake diagram on the brand report page: Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, Etsy, Online Resellers, Advertising, Website Traffic, & Twitter.

  5. How do you get contact information (i.e. email) and what's the accuracy rate?

    1. Charm gets contacts via direct scraping of sources like LinkedIn as well as our Co-Op contact sharing model. Since contacts are a difficult problem for all businesses our Enterprise customers opt-in to a shared model where we pool contacts together, de-dupe, and scrub them for accuracy then put them back into the system. This gives us a large range of contact coverage as we all benefit from individual company collection and manual work. All contact suppliers will have some inevitable error rate. For Charm, there is currently no other ecommerce data supplier that even has contacts.

      If you think about the job to be done, you can't even get to needing a contact until you know what brand to contact. Here's why Charm is valuable.

      1. WHO: We identify the brands that matter in your target ideal customer profile

      2. WHAT: We analyze them with a depth of attributes you can use to customize your outreach for higher conversion rates

      3. WHEN: We share time series insights so you can be alerted to changes in their business to reach out at the right time

      4. Contacts: Charm has more contacts than any other provider.

  6. How often are the company contacts updated?

    1. Contacts are updated every few weeks.

  7. Is the traffic related to organic search traffic only? Is it obtained through scrape or partnership?

    1. Traffic information comes from a combination of many sources including Similar Web, SemRush, etc.

  8. How do you determine the number of online resellers? Is it through scrape on Amazon? For example, I wasn't able to find the number for.

    1. We use computer vision to match product photos with other websites that are selling the same product photo. For example, here is a website selling JustCBD that we identify via the justcbd Distribution tab.

  9. In general, how did you get social media data? Is it through weekly scrape?

    1. We scrape it weekly.

  10. What's the calculation for IG engagement rate?

    1. Likes and comments over followers
