By default, proposals do not have an expiration date. To set the length of time clients have to accept your proposal:
Go to Manage --> Payment Settings.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Additional Payment Settings.
Under Due Dates you will find the setting for default proposal time.
Click Settings to change the default proposal expiration days.
A typical time to expiration for a proposal is between 7 and 14 days.
