How do I get my backdrops set up?

Fine tune your backdrops by changing the settings that manage how your backdrops are assigned and chosen.

Updated today

You can edit the settings on each individual backdrop by going to Manage --> Backdrops and clicking on the settings gear icon for the backdrop you want to edit.

How do I change the order that backdrops show up in?

To change the order in which a backdrop displays when a client is choosing a backdrop for their booking, click the up or down arrows at the bottom of the backdrop to change it's order in the display.

Alternatively you can click the crossed arrows icon to quickly assign the backdrops position in the display order.

Default Visibility setting on Backdrop Categories

The settings in the backdrop Category can be overridden by the settings in each backdrop. So if you expected to see a backdrop on a booking, and the category that backdrop is in shows Default Visibility for All Packages, then review the settings for that specific backdrop and make sure it is visible to the package you have selected.

Default Visibility on Backdrop Settings

Each backdrop has it's own settings - Visible for Packages. This setting determines whether or not this backdrop will appear as a choice on a booking. This setting will override the Category level setting.

Ex: The Gold Sequin backdrop is in the Standard backdrop category, and that category is set to be visible for All Packages, but this backdrop's individual settings has Visible to All Packages set to No Packages, then this backdrop will not be visible to any bookings.

To edit settings on individual backdrops

Click the gear icon under the image for the backdrop you want to edit. Settings include:

  • Name

  • Description

  • Category

  • Price

  • Taxable

  • Include this backdrop with some packages at no charge?

    • If yes, assign the packages it should be available for free with

  • Does this backdrop require lead time?

    • If yes, how many days?

  • Yes, show this backdrop with my Backdrop Gallery Widget

  • Assign a master image for this backdrop

  • Assign packages that this backdrop is available to

Note that the settings on each individual backdrop will override the settings at the Category level.

How do I make a copy of a backdrop?

You can quickly duplicate a backdrop by clicking the pages icon at the bottom right of each backdrop.

How do I assign backdrops to my packages?

Every package has it's own backdrop settings. Go to Manage --> Packages and click on the Advanced tab, then check the radio buttons to determine whether the package should have a backdrop or not, and whether or not it needs to be selected before or after the booking is confirmed.
