How does a Client redeem a Check This Out coupon

This article discusses how a Check This Out Client redeems a coupon presented by their customer.

Customer Coupon Redemption Instructions

Validate

Step 1, If a customer states they have a Check This Out coupon ask to see it on their phone to confirm the coupon amount and expiration date.

Step 2, Ask the customer to write their phone number on the top of their check

Redeem

Step 3, Go to the Check This Out iPad, tablet, or smart phone next to your point of sale system (POS) and login to your Check This Out account. Alternatively your General Manager may choose to keep one server account logged in continuously for all Check This Out coupon redemptions.

Step 4, Enter the customer’s phone number then click Check for Valid Coupon.

Step 5, Note the amount of the customer's Check This Out balance. A $0 balance means the customer has already used their active coupons or credit balance. If a customer is certain they have an active coupon, please inform them that they may need to activate a coupon through the coupon invitation that was texted to them.

Step 6. Click on Redeem Coupon when prompted to confirm redemption of a Check This Out coupon.

Deduct

Step 7, Go to your POS and select the CTO coupon button that corresponds to the amount of the customer's Check This Out balance to deduct it from the customer’s check. For Check This Out balances larger than $10 ask your manager to authorize a comp discount on your POS for the amount of the Check This Out balance.

Step 8, Print a check from your POS and confirm that the Check This Out coupon was deducted from the check
