Drawings are usually added initially when creating a project, but it is also possible to upload drawings any time after. Keep in mind that we only support the file formats PDF, PNG, and JPG.
We recommend to give your files/drawings logical names that is easy to search for within the project.
Here are a few examples:
Basement
1. floor
2. floor
Roof
Situational map
Date/period
Everyone knows which project they are working in, so that does it easier when you choose what to call your drawing. e.g. "1. floor" and not "Kings road number 156, 1. floor". Be aware that the list/grid of drawings shown is listed in numerical/alphabetical order.
To upload one or several drawings, you can do the following steps:
Logg on to web.checkd.it
Open the project you wish to upload a drawing to.
Click on the ' + Add drawings ' button in the bottom right corner.
You can either drag and drop files or click on the plus icon in the window to upload files from your computer.
Click on 'Upload' to upload your drawings.
Note that image files can be edited before they get uploaded by clicking on 'Edit' before you proceed (see the bottom picture in this article).
TIP: You can also connect accounts like Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive or use a picture link to upload photos.
If the drawings that you upload are in png or jpg format it is possible to 'Crop' and 'Rotate' photos, as shown below.
